Mono pump
Mono pump is one of the types of positive displacement pumps that has many applications in the industry. This type of pump is also called eccentric screw pump.
These pumps have a spiral stator made of plastic with a metal screw inside. When the electromotor rotates, the mardon on a rotor or shaft rotates and rotates the fluid in the direction of the pump. This pump is used for high viscosity fluids.
Mono pump components include; The electric motor, stator, body and sealing system and rotor, each of these components have a specific function.
Types of mono pumps:
Mono tubular pump:
One of the most common of these pumps is a tube mono pump with a tube-like inlet. These pumps are for transporting viscous fluids as well as fluids whose materials are solid particles. Fluid transfer in this type of pump is by pipe and due to the high concentration of fluid in this pump, as well as the low suction of this pump, the fluid must be higher than the inlet of the pump to be able to pump easily. Mono-pump tubes based on the transfer fluid are of the helix type and simple.

Mono funnel pump:
The funnel pump is like a tube, but with the difference that there is a funnel at the inlet of this pump, the size of this funnel determines the capacity of the pump, which can be variable. This type of pump is used in cases where materials have high viscosity as well as high density, such as paste materials and solids. In the food industry, funnel monopumps are used to pump food, various pastes, gluten, etc.
Vertical mono pump:
The design of this pump is such that by entering the main part of the pump into the tank chamber, it is discharged and pumped. The salient features of this type of pump include simple mechanism, easy and simple maintenance, high capacity, low NPSH, high head and so on.

Mono pump concrete foam:
This type of pump, whose concrete structure is composed of air bubbles, is called foam or foam concrete. The concrete of this type of pump is composed of pneumatic sand, foam and water. Foam concrete pump due to its low weight and high compressive strength as well as low financial cost, is a prominent feature of this mono pump. The foam concrete pump is almost similar to the tubular model, except that there is a valve in the drain of the pump that has a small depreciation. In mono-concrete foam pump, by changing the diameter of the rotor and stator, as well as by changing the motor speed, the pump power of this foam concrete pump changes and increases and decreases.
Mono pump gauge:
This pump is used to pump the exact amount of fluid. This device is designed in such a way that with the increase or decrease of solid particles and also the change of system pressure, the output flow is uniform.

Advantages of mono-pumps:
Continuous operation capability
Ability to control the output flow
Ability to pump very concentrated materials
Ability to pump high viscosity materials
Low Net Positive Suction Head (NPSH): NPSH is the pressure required to apply a certain amount of fluid through the inlet pipes into the impeller, cylinder and body.
Minimal noise and noise pollution
Smooth, controlled and continuous flow
Having a wide range of pressures and pumping capacities
Very simple and easy assembly and disassembly
Easy and simple maintenance

Factors to consider when choosing a mono pump?
head:
The amount of pressure required for pumping in m or bar
pressure:
The maximum amount of material that the pump can pump per unit time is in Lit⁄Min or Lit⁄h.
viscosity:
In terms of centstoke is cst, the power of the pump and its circumference is determined by the viscosity, and the degree of viscosity depends on the physical properties of the pumped material.
chemical properties:
One of the factors used to select the type of pump is the pH and performance of the material chemicals.
Physical properties:
The amount of wear and corrosion that affects the choice of pump to select the appropriate pump, rotor and stator if necessary.
- Operating temperature: In cases where the temperature of the pumped material must be kept constant or the temperature is too high, the pump is custom made.
- Speed: In some cases, due to the specific conditions of the material, it is not possible to pump high speed, which must be specified in the selection of the pump, the speed limit to use the appropriate actuator unit.
- Limitation of space for installation and placement of the pump
